As a working farm, we open exclusively at weekends from May through to September. The field is a natural water meadow and, for the rest of the year, is used for grazing our outdoor reared livestock. Hence, we don’t allow caravans and motorhomes as the field is not suitable for them. For information about campervans, please check out our FAQ page.
There is plenty of space for all to play in and to enjoy both the field and the river. However, we ask adults to supervise the children at all times while on the farm.
There are portable toilets on site, as well as close access to a flushing toilet, a hot shower and washing-up sinks- all of which are cleaned daily. There are also drinking water taps in the field. The shower requires a £1 coin
We do not allow on ground fires or disposable BBQs but you may bring your own raised fire, or hire one of ours when you book. We come round with bags of logs every evening for sale.
We offer for hire two unfurnished Bell Tents, sleeping 4 each, for the whole weekend only! They come fully erected and will be taken down for you.
The campsite is small and family orientated, and we ask all those who come to enjoy themselves but also respect others who may be looking for a quiet night. Therefore:
We make every effort to ensure that the site is safe for all, but we ask parents to supervise their children, especially near the river, the road and the animals. Please do not enter other fields for your safety and that of the animals.
The site speed limit is 5mph, and you must never let the children drive.
When leaving, please pick up all your rubbish and dispose of in the skip. Leave the site as you would like to find it.
Do not bring fireworks or Chinese Lanterns.
Dogs are welcome; but as we are a working farm, all dogs must be kept on leads at all times, regardless of size and/or temperament. This is to protect yourselves, other guests and our livestock.
If anyone behaves in an anti-social manner and refuses to behave, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
